|Exhibition Preview: Charles LeDray, London
11 July 2009
Charles LeDray has been described as the best-kept secret of the contemporary art world, labouring away for years before completing a sculpture. The results are always worth seeing, for both the sheer obsessive insanity of his creations and for their poetic ability to address the anxieties of contemporary western society. The New York enigma comes over to showcase a new work called Mens Suits, a vast collection of smaller than lifesize men's clothes, all stitched by the artist.
